Boys are great! Liam just woke up, and as I was holding him, Dar started playing peek-a-boo with him behind my back. Liam therefore tried to body tackle him every time he popped out. This resulted in Dar screeching and hiding under my blanket. Liam, hearing the noise started to mimic it. So Dar would screech, then Liam would wait and make sure he was done, then he would screech. It was an ear piercing conversation between the two of them for about 5 minutes before the phone rang and broke it up. So much fun!

Lost Party
Louis, grabbed his big fishing knife, hooked it to his belt, I make-uped a scar over his eye, and he went as John Locke. I told you he goes way out...

Christmas at the Butlers
Let me tell you...we will NEVER do two Christmases again. It was a lot of work, and very exhausting! But we enjoyed being able to see all of both of our families. Luckily with all the yummy food that was everywhere in easy reach, I only gained 1/2 pound! Now that is success. We are very glad to be home however. 3 weeks is a LONG time with two children. Especially when Liam doesn't sleep well unless he is in his own bed. We have been home a week, and are finally getting back to schedule. Liam slept later then 4 or 5 am for the first time this morning. He is also waking up less at night. I think he is finally realizing he is home and will be sleeping more. Consequently we will get more sleep as well. I hope. We all missed our beds. I missed our water pressure, and planning/making our meals. (never thought I would say that) We are back to dieting and excercising, and man, it feels really good! (Another thing I thought I would never say.) Dar is back to school and loving it, as am I. We've been needing breaks from each other. Liam had a Dr's apt yesterday, and has actually lost a couple of ounces since his last appointment. He has also had a few shots, poor thing. Louis will be traveling next week and will be gone for two weeks. I have projects galore, so this will be a great time to get started on them. All in all, life continues to move forward and we are, so far, enjoying the new year. We have many things to look forward to. Including a change of job for Louis, getting pregnant again, and a vacation in Hawaii. Hoepfully, we will not be adding an IA to afganistan to that list... Hunting with Toby

Christmas at the Beasleys
We started Christmas Morning at my parents house, around noon, we headed back to the Butlers. As you can see Dar was tuckered out from playiong with his cool new toys! Sledding with the four wheeler was a day or two before.

Ode to home!
Home again home again, jiggity jog.
I can tell you that I didn't miss your fog!
Your shops however are pleasant and sweat.
Selection is such a rare treat!
The 27 hour trip was such a doozy.
All day long we've just wanted to snoozy.
The boys were the best troopers there's ever been.
Not a tantrum nor melt down was ever seen!
We are home and safe, and recovering. We have 3 beautiful weeks ahead of us, which I'm sure will pass all too swiftly.
