I'm sorry it's been so long since I posted a blog. This month has flown by. What with Dar being sick, I had a kidney infection, Louis climbing Mt. Fuji and then going to Sasebo, I've been completely non-blog oriented. Anyway, Liam had his 2 month check up today and for the first time a child of ours is above the normal. When Dar was new he was in the 50th percentile. After a couple of months he went to around the 25th percentile and stayed there until this year. Liam is in the 85th percentile. He is 24" tall, and 12 lbs and 9 oz. I didn't ask the head circumference but I'm assuming that is on the large side as well as he isn't too disproportienate. No wonder he is outgrowing his 0-3 month cloths. My adorable little chubby chunker!

Our Farm
We've lovingly nicknamed both of our children after farm animals. Dar has always been the little pig. I know, it sounds harsh doesn't it...but really, when he was an infant, he would root and wallow around in our bed like a little piggy. Hence the name. Now, Louis has started to call Liam his little toad. I asked him why, because I didn't see it. Even though most everyone in his office saw it too. Well, at least the guys...maybe it's a guy thing?? Anyway, his reasoning was two fold. 1. His legs, Dar loved to keep his legs stretched. Liam keeps them constantly tucked in like frog legs. And 2. He has a chubby little bullfrog belly that hangs out on the sides like in the pictured image below. Especially in his carseat. Here's to our animal like children.
So I guess that means I should start calling Louis Old MacDonald?...

Interesting and confusing
I haven't posted much about while my parents were here with the exception of Liam's birth. One thing we actually did take pictures of was while we were in Tokyo. We went into Hiro-O plaza, a.k.a. a mall. Anyway, on the main floor was a grocery store, a fairly large one too for Japan standards. As we left, Liam was in need of a bum change and to eat, their happened to be a nice seat right outside the exit. While sitting there I noticed a sign posted on the glass...
look to the left... on the glas...under the Kanji...
...notice the middle sign. I understand the no animals, and the no smoking, but the no pictures?? That seems a little odd to me. Of course, this is probably the very reason why they posted that sign...but come on! You put a sign up like that your bound to get more of what you are trying to prevent. I guess I labeled myself a tourist. Oh well.
